Abstract

Education, an essential pillar of social progress, plays a significant role in the transmission of knowledge and values, shaping the comprehensive development of personality and facilitating the assimilation of the cultural legacy of the society in which one lives and acts. Education not only contributes to individual and collective well-being but also drives economic development and social mobility, creating greater opportunities for future generations, fostering democracy, and advancing scientific and technological progress. In the Dominican Republic, education is recognized as a fundamental human right, guaranteed by the Constitution and supported by the National Development Strategy Law 01-12 and the Organic Law of Education (66-97). These legal frameworks promote quality, equitable, and continuous education, essential for social cohesion and sustainable development.

The research being conducted aims to reflect on the need for improving the management of educational educators in the Dominican context and to propose, as a solution, the development of a pedagogical model. A dialectical approach is used, allowing for the interrelation of theoretical methods (historical-logical, systematization, modeling, among others) and empirical methods (observation, document analysis, surveys, interviews, among others), through which the necessary information is gathered for the creation of the intended outcome: a pedagogical model for the management of educational educators in Extended School Day centers in the Dominican Republic, fostering the improvement of educational management and the enhancement of educational quality.
