Abstract

The research presented below is titled Incidence of pedagogical support for the improvement in teaching practice in the “Los Lirios” Primary School, Regional 01, District 03 of Barahona, year 2022-2023; in which the deficiencies that arise during the pedagogical support of teachers were identified as a research problem, which limit the professional performance of the management team, the improvement of teaching practice and therefore the learning of students, which It is worrying for the researcher and the Dominican educational system in correspondence with the demands of the 2030 Agenda in the axis of educational quality that it pursues. The general objective “Analyze the incidence of Pedagogical Support for Improvement in Teaching Practice.” Its approach is mixed, and its type is non-experimental; The methods used in the research were analytical, inductive-deductive, in addition to diagnosis, participant observation, and a survey through a questionnaire. The population was taken in its entirety, 5 members of the management team and 19 teachers. The pedagogical accompaniment is carried out with some weaknesses in this educational center, there is little follow-up of the agreements and commitments, the scheduled time is not carried out, instruments filled out without objectivity, criteria not taken into account; although there are strengths that must be given continuity. The theoretical contribution that this study aims to make is to provide some suggestions and/or recommendations for the improvement of pedagogical support as a strategy to improve teaching practice.
