Ethic policy
As part of our commitment to promoting and sustaining high standards of academic and scientific integrity, the leadership of the International Ideice Congress has adopted the following ethics policy, aligned with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):
- Originality and Integrity: Authors must ensure that submitted works are original, unpublished, and that all cited data and references are accurate and verifiable.
- Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors must adequately cite all data sources and publications that have significantly influenced their research.
- Authorship of the Work: All mentioned co-authors should have made a significant contribution to the research and should agree with the authorship order.
- Error in Published Research: If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they should immediately notify the Congress's authorities.
- Declaration of Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflict of interest that could influence their work. Reviewers should notify the Congress's authorities of any conflict of interest that may arise during the review process.
- Objectivity: Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively, without personal or professional biases.
- Promptness: Reviewers should meet the established deadlines for reviews to ensure an efficient and effective peer review process.
- Confidentiality: Reviewers should treat assigned manuscripts with absolute confidentiality and should not share or discuss the details with others without authorization. Conference attendees must maintain the confidentiality of any information or material presented during the conference that is indicated as such.
- Respect: Conference attendees should respect the opinions of other participants, maintaining an open and constructive debate environment.
- Professional Behavior: Attendees should behave professionally and respectfully in all interactions and should refrain from any inappropriate behavior or language.
