Abstract

Currently, the educational community faces the challenge of improving didactic-pedagogical processes by integrating innovative technologies, such as QR codes, in the classroom. However, this integration is hindered by the lack of adequate training, the scarcity of technological resources and resistance to change on the part of teachers. This problem has become an essential priority in education.

The integration of QR codes into various areas of daily life is becoming more frequent every day; their versatility allows them to be implemented in the educational field as a novel tool, providing benefits to both teachers and students.

The justification for addressing this problem lies in the need to improve the quality of the learning evaluation process based on the usefulness of QR codes as an innovative and low-cost solution. QR codes allow for more timely real-time feedback, access to additional resources, and tailoring instruction to individual student needs.

The objective of this study is to analyze how the implementation of QR codes improves the quality of student evaluation in the polytechnics of San Felipe de Puerto Plata during the 2023-2024 school year. To achieve this, a methodology was used that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches, evaluating the effects of the implementation of QR codes in education. The population object of the research is made up of teachers and students from the aforementioned polytechnics.
