
This study aims to diagnose the conditions of universal accessibility in the educational centers of the Educational District 0403 San Cristóbal Sur, to identify potential barriers that hinder accessibility for the inclusion of people with disabilities. The research focuses on infrastructure, communication and management. Its relevance lies in the fact that, having a diagnosis, a baseline can be created for the implementation of plans in favor of the development of educational inclusion. This is a quantitative research with a descriptive design, whose field of study was twenty educational centers in the district jurisdiction 04-03 San Cristóbal. A sample of twenty center management teams was used, composed of twenty directors, an equal number of coordinators, twenty counselors and three classroom teachers. This population is made up of 77 % women and 23 % men, whose age range is between 30 and 60 years old. The instruments applied were self-made, Dominican version. The results showed the existence of physical, communication and management barriers to accessibility.
