
The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact that pedagogical support has as a strategy on the professional development of Natural Sciences teachers. It is specifically aimed at the first cycle of Secondary Level and in the Educational District 04-02 San Cristóbal Norte, Dominican Republic.
The process of pedagogical support focuses on reflection on teaching practice. This involves examining various areas, such as methodological strategies, operating schemes and routines, as well as the attitudes and representations that are formed in the work environment. The objective is to carry out a process of analysis, both individual and collaborative, with the purpose of guiding development at three levels: personal, professional and institutional.
This research proposal involves a descriptive and correlational study. That seeks to describe and analyze the effect of pedagogical support on the professional development of Natural Sciences teachers in the First Cycle of the Secondary Level in a specific context, the educational district 04-02 San Cristóbal Norte, Dominican Republic. In addition, relationships and correlations will be established between pedagogical support and the development of pedagogical skills and disciplinary knowledge of teachers.
