The Education of Young People and Adults (EYPA) is key to personal empowerment and social transformation. The study conducted in regions 05 and 12 revealed that both students and teachers see EYPA as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. However, they face challenges such as age and lack of work experience.
The research, which was exploratory scope, showed that participants hope that their studies will open doors to better job opportunities. Teachers, for their part, emphasize the importance of adapting teaching strategies to the needs of adults and updating the curriculum.
The results indicate that socioeconomic and family factors influence participants’ expectations. Therefore, it is recommended that educational policies be strengthened to connect EYPA with the world of work and that the curriculum be revised to improve the training of participants. This will maximize the positive impact of EYPA on the lives of youth and adult participants, promoting their social inclusion and economic development.
