The present study aims to evaluate the impact of the integration of ICT tools in secondary education, focusing on teachers’ digital competencies, the use of ICT in the classroom and the challenges they face. The research, with a quantitative approach, used descriptive and correlational methods, along with cluster analysis to identify patterns in the use of ICT. 44 teachers from various academic areas were surveyed. The results reveal a high integration of ICT, with 52.3% of teachers using them constantly and 43.2% frequently. However, barriers were identified such as the instability of the internet connection, the lack of access to suitable devices and the need for further training. In addition, teachers showed limitations in solving technical problems and using specialized software. The study concludes that although ICT integration has been beneficial, it is crucial to overcome these obstacles through adequate resources and continuous training.
