This comparative project has had the purpose of knowing the professional performance of visual arts teachers, in the José Francisco Peña Gómez educational centers of the Educational District 07-05 and Monseñor Francisco Panal of the Educational District 07-06, of Regional 07, school year 2023-2024, San Francisco de Macoris. R.D. It focused on the importance of improving the quality of learning in the Visual Arts. Furthermore, it was characterized by being a mixed study, since quantitative and qualitative instruments were applied to obtain the results of said modality, taking a sample of 37 students and a total of 4 teachers from the area. It should be noted that when observing the results in this disciplinary field, it was concluded that the level of professional performance shown by the teachers of both educational centers was excellent, showing innovation, integration of ICT and new techniques applied to the visual arts. Based on the conclusions of this project, continuous training of visual arts teachers and better equipment of educational centers is recommended to achieve greater impact on teaching practice and on student learning, as well as emphasizing art. digital, since we live in the era of digital natives, and we must be in line with the demands of time.
