At present, the teaching-learning processes have undergone a total transformation with the application of technology, however, the means, methods and teaching strategies, as well as the evaluation strategies used, have not yielded the necessary results, if we focus on the great investment that the educational system has made.
An effective assessment provides valuable information for teachers and students, as it allows them to measure the level of understanding of the material, identify strengths and weaknesses in learning, and adjust teaching and learning methods.
In this research, our main objective is to determine the impact of the evaluation strategies employed by teachers at the City of Knowledge Polytechnic during the 2023-2024 School Year.
To accomplish this, we identify the various strategies used by educators that directly influence Students' meaningful learning process.
The present research is focused on both qualitative and quantitative paradigms since it seeks to offer possibilities for improvement according to the results obtained, therefore, it allowed us to enter the reality from a more direct vision.
After implementing the various techniques proposed, it was possible to determine the great impact that evaluation strategies have on the teaching process, taking as relevance those that are participatory and teamwork.
In short, with the implementation of this research, the need to evaluate the effectiveness of current evaluation strategies is justified, to suggest possible improvements that could be applied to improve the teaching-learning process.
