https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/61

Teachers require training processes that allow them to respond in a timely manner to the educational reality; the main goal is to enable them to respond to the changes today from a professional and competent perspective. Numerous researchers propose that computational thinking should be included as a new competence in educational training (Barr & Stephenson, 2011; Wing, 2006). The project was planned in two phases, with the objective of evaluating the initial and ongoing training of a group of teachers of the pre-university education system of the Dominican Republic in relation to Computational Thinking, the theoretical and practical knowledge of teachers of the primary and secondary cycles in relation to computational thinking was determined, the same group was considered for the implementation of a course in computational thinking. The second phase refers to changes in theoretical and practical knowledge once the course has been completed. The study is conceived from a field modality, at a descriptive level, under a mixed approach, where qualitative and quantitative dimensions and indicators were considered. The proposal aims at the revision of the initial and permanent teacher training to optimize the quality of education, where innovative elements are included, having an importance in the pedagogical field, since it seeks to address the situations presented in school spaces by implementing updated strategies in public and private institutions in the Dominican Republic in the described area.
Consuelo HeviaLaura LehouxLaura Amelia Fermín-GenaoLisibonny Beato-Castro

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/97

Currently, the educational community faces the challenge of improving didactic-pedagogical processes by integrating innovative technologies, such as QR codes, in the classroom. However, this integration is hindered by the lack of adequate training, the scarcity of technological resources and resistance to change on the part of teachers. This problem has become an essential priority in education.

The integration of QR codes into various areas of daily life is becoming more frequent every day; their versatility allows them to be implemented in the educational field as a novel tool, providing benefits to both teachers and students.

The justification for addressing this problem lies in the need to improve the quality of the learning evaluation process based on the usefulness of QR codes as an innovative and low-cost solution. QR codes allow for more timely real-time feedback, access to additional resources, and tailoring instruction to individual student needs.

The objective of this study is to analyze how the implementation of QR codes improves the quality of student evaluation in the polytechnics of San Felipe de Puerto Plata during the 2023-2024 school year. To achieve this, a methodology was used that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches, evaluating the effects of the implementation of QR codes in education. The population object of the research is made up of teachers and students from the aforementioned polytechnics.
Edwis Francisco Vásquez

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/103

In today's society, digital competence has become essential, especially in the education of students with disabilities. Teachers play a crucial role in fostering social and digital inclusion, but often lack practical digital competencies. Thus, this study conducts a qualitative research to identify the level of preparation of university faculty at the University of Almeria (Spain) in digital competencies, as well as to identify the barriers that hinder teachers' digital competency training. The results show that the teaching staff is not prepared or trained to use ICTs to support students with disabilities. Among the main barriers are the time limitation, the limited training offer, the economic cost of training courses and the lack of knowledge and disinterest of some teachers. Training in digital skills to support students with disabilities is insufficient, leading to digital exclusion. The lack of skills and identified barriers need to be addressed to enable teachers to access the necessary training and use technology effectively in inclusive education. Information and Communication Technologies have the potential to improve the quality of life in the educational environment, but their appropriate use requires adequate preparation on the part of teachers. The study has limitations in the representativeness of the sample and the need for further studies in this field of research.
Marta Montenegro RuedaJosé Fernández-Cerero

2024-08-082024-08-0814223010.47554/cii.vol14.2023.pp22-30Service for the creation and administration of teaching sequences
https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/60

Didactic sequences play a fundamental role in the management and organization of teaching and learning programs in the educational field. However, their creation and development entail a considerable investment of time and effort from teachers, adding a significant burden to their work.

To address this opportunity for improvement, the implementation of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models is proposed to automate a substantial portion of the processes required for the creation of didactic sequences.

Through the use of NLP models, it is possible to identify the necessary curriculum components for the desired teaching plan, dramatically reducing the time and energy investments required to create high-quality didactic sequences. Additionally, these models can generate teaching and learning activity sequences based on these previously extracted curriculum components, further streamlining the process.

Therefore, the adoption of NLP models in the creation of didactic sequences represents a significant opportunity for improvement in educational management. By reducing the workload of teachers and simplifying the production of lesson plans, it promotes more effective, student-centered teaching, benefiting both educators and students. This innovation has the potential to contribute to the much-needed transformation of education, making it more accessible and effective.
José García UrbáezCristian de León

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/75

There are many studies related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that show that educational video games are an effective resource in the teaching-learning process, developing cognitive skills in students, keeping them highly motivated, and improving their academic performance. In particular, in the socialization of the Research Methodology subject, which offers students the essential elements to get started in educational research, it is important to implement strategies in the classroom that stimulate the enthusiasm and interest of participants. This is a study with a quantitative design and descriptive approach, aimed at knowing the opinions of students in the Research Methodology regarding the implementation of a video game in a higher education institution in the Dominican Republic. The sample consisted of 24 students. The results show that video games are potentially beneficial, as they awaken acceptance and interest in students, since most participants believe that they learn better with video games, and they also find them fun and appropriate when used as a resource. On the other hand, the commitment assumed by them is highlighted, who believe that they would include video games in their future pedagogical activities.
Rogel Rojas Bello Teresa De Jesús González

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/127

Educational quality and teacher identity are not transhistorical phenomena. Identity and educational quality, rather than universal, eternal or immutable concepts, phenomena or entities, are historical and sociological realities. For this reason, a relationship can be established between educational quality and teaching identity: each educational model corresponds to an educational quality and an expectation of the teaching work, as well as a self-perception of the professional practice. In this paper I am interested in analyzing the transformations of Dominican education throughout the twentieth century. And especially to provoke a reflection on how the changes produced a teaching identity and a perception of educational quality.
Óscar Gallo

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/108

Learning is a process that must be carefully planned. In its design, it is necessary to contemplate a series of elements that guide students in a progressive way. Although these elements are multiple, this article focuses on instructions as an important element in the design of learning sequences. Which, despite their importance, show carelessness in their elaboration, omitting indispensable elements in them. The results presented are part of the research on the use of technological tools in the sequences of learning activities. The case of the Diploma in Educational Informatics, developed at the Salomé Ureña Higher Institute of Teacher Training (ISFODOSU), in the Dominican Republic. This was a unique case study. The fieldwork was carried out in the 6 campuses that make up ISFODOSU. It involved 20 interviews with teachers and 17 focus groups with students. In the opinion of teachers and students, the instructions of these courses are confusing and, in some cases incoherent. Although they are based on real situations, they do not include learning situations in their design. In them, the delivery of a product is always requested, for which the evaluation criteria are explicit.
Máxima A. Rodríguez-PaulinoPaulino Murillo-Estepa

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/69

Saccades are ocular oscillations that allow the eye to move from one side to the other to observe everything that is happening around it. If these movements are not well developed, they influence the processes and quality of reading. In this sense, the present research was aimed at determining the relationship between saccadic movements and reading fluency in 5th grade primary school students.

A methodology with a quantitative approach with a non-experimental and descriptive design was chosen. The population sample was made up of 30 students from the second cycle of primary education and the K-D test that measures saccadic movements and the T.A.L.E Test were applied to them to evaluate reading fluency. The data obtained are presented in percentages of absolute and relative frequency. The results obtained in this research demonstrate that there is a positive relationship between saccadic movements and reading fluency. However, it is concluded based on the T.A. test. L. E., that if the relationship between saccadic movements and reading is not met, repetition, rotation, omission and inversion errors can be made. According to the results of the K-D test, it was found that there is a favorable and statistically significant relationship between saccadic movements and reading fluency.
Yolanda Bienvenida Liriano Hernandez

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/113

Adolescence is a transitory stage in the life of all individuals that denotes fundamental aspects of a future adult. Having emotional stability will lead to experiencing it and evoking it in a pleasant way, which is most likely the beginning of stable individuals integrated into society. for their benefit and the common good, otherwise it could happen if the stage is experienced with family and school adversities. The following work was carried out with the objective of knowing the causes that affect disruptive behaviors of first-grade secondary school students, who, by living with families in situations of psychosocial risk, generate conflictive situations in their school environment that negatively affect both their academic life as well as the coexistence that must prevail among peers, staff, teachers, psychologists, educational psychologists and the community in general. The descriptive study made it possible to obtain information about the childhood of fathers, mothers and guardians and the impact of their upbringing on the formation of their sons or daughters. Both dependent and independent variables were linked, allowing data to be collected from each of the actors who interact daily with the adolescents, in turn, the information was compared with the results that showed, detachment and lack of accompaniment of the parents towards their children. or daughters, as well as aspects to improve by the School Guidance Unit, in terms of addressing the different cases that arise among adolescents.
Belkis Jamileth Duarte Nares

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/115

Postural hygiene is of great importance in the primary school environment, however, students currently have little knowledge about which habits and postural attitudes are harmful to health, and one of the problems is the increase of weight in the school backpack, the objective of this research is to know the usefulness of technology and its influence on the weight of the backpack of primary school students. This study was carried out with students from first to sixth grade of elementary school from different educational centers, where data on sex, age, body weight, weight of the backpack and the participant's grade were collected. The results show that the integration of electronic devices in the educational processes influences the load of the students' backpacks, due to the fact that they maintain a weight of no more than 15% of their body weight. In conclusion, the integration of technology in schools has prevented students from carrying excessive weight in their school backpacks; therefore, students carry less than 15% of their body weight and will acquire fewer diseases in the future by carrying an adequate weight in their backpacks.
Melissa Contreras ParedesMelina Rodríguez Reyes Haifa Ariana Martínez Nadal

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/70

The new times have demanded progressive changes in the way we teach reading and writing, which has led to rethinking the pedagogical action in schools, promoting reflection on the teaching process in and outside the classroom. Being the quality of the results of the learning a consequence of the process of intervention of the educational reality, the space is propitiated to address the root of the problem in the lack of correspondence between the theoretical and methodological postulates in both the Dominican curricular design and the curricular adaptation and on that note, in relation to the implementation of these approaches, comes the integral methodological proposal of Fe y Alegría arising as a response. for the improvement of the processes of planning, promotion, and evaluation of learning in first grade. This research process aims to verify the effectiveness of the implementation of the proposal by setting the following objectives: To describe the learning outcomes of initial literacy in Spanish Language and Mathematics, after the implementation of the First Grade Collection during the 2022-2023 school year in the CE Fe y Alegría that reflects the current situation and provides inputs for future decision-making aimed at raising educational quality standards. The methodology used is based on the participatory action research model. https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/32

Inclusive education is a relevant topic today, as it seeks to create a more equitable and inclusive educational environment for all students. The objective of this study was to analyze the perception and attitude of teachers towards inclusive education, evaluate the implementation of pedagogical strategies and the identification of possible barriers that prevent inclusion in the classroom. A survey was applied to 300 teachers, using a Likert scale to assess their agreement or disagreement in relation to various aspects of inclusive education. The results obtained indicate that the majority of teachers show a positive attitude towards inclusive education, agreeing with the implementation of pedagogical strategies and the identification of barriers to inclusion. However, there are areas that can be improved, as well as training and education in inclusive education, and continuous reflection on pedagogical practices. Likewise, certain barriers to inclusion are identified, such as the lack of adequate resources and materials, and discrimination towards certain groups of students. The results of this research highlight the importance of continuing to strengthen the training and training of teachers in inclusive education, as well as promoting a culture of reflection and continuous improvement in their pedagogical practices. The identification of barriers also highlights the need to implement strategies to address these difficulties and ensure a more inclusive and equitable educational environment. These established a solid foundation for the design of policies and programs that promote quality inclusive education, in which all students can fully develop their potential and have equal opportunities in their educational process.
Flor Berenice Fortuna TerreroJuan José Peralta Guzmán

Within the framework of university education, as at other levels, there are various factors that may be inherent or influence the teaching methodologies implemented by teachers, taking place specifically at the beginning of their professional practice.

The insertion process of the new teacher can be complex, not only due to the particularities of everyone, understood as a multidimensional subject, but also due to the labor, methodological, academic, pedagogical, intellectual and social implications of assuming a teaching position. university student and his investiture.

This reality, which has been part of the “life of the university teacher” has represented not only a wide desertion of work, but given the responsibility that the position entails, in terms of training future professionals, it means an important impact on the development appropriate or not of higher-level students. This theory led to an investigation (Nuñez-Méndez, 2022), where two instruments were applied to a sample of 115 new teachers from four universities in the Dominican Republic and this provided information that affirmed the need for a training plan. innovative teacher.

This is why a training program has been designed for new university teachers, which has been conceived in stages, based on the need that new teachers must be trained in accordance with their stage of professional development.
Maribel Núñez Méndez

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/73

In the Dominican Republic, the National Teacher Induction Plan (PNI) is currently being developed. Its aim is to provide assistance, guidance, and support to new teachers for their effective integration into classrooms and to have a positive impact on student learning outcomes. The program strengthens professional competencies to address challenges in the school context, curriculum management, classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment, in addition to fostering connections with the educational community. The country's Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have responsibilities in this process. The general objective of this study is to analyze the competencies acquired by teachers during the implementation of the PNI. The methodological approach is based on the quantitative paradigm, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional research design. The study population includes all teachers who underwent training in 2023. The instrument addressed dimensions such as competencies developed in each module, strengths, weaknesses, and satisfaction levels. The results indicate that the most developed competency during the PNI implementation is the ability to perform basic tasks related to familiarizing with the virtual learning environment, demonstrating mastery of these actions. The level of satisfaction with the PNI objectives is entirely satisfied. The elements considered strengths or positive aspects include timely teaching techniques and strategies and appropriate support from module facilitators. As for weaknesses or negative elements, these include scheduling, the time allocated for activities, and the flexibility of program administrators.
Carmen Mata de SalcedoWanda Marina Román Santana

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/109

Teacher stress represents a global challenge that impacts educators worldwide, including the Dominican Republic. This type of stress can arise from several reasons related to the work environment, emotional and psychological factors, and its impact extends to both the physical and mental health of educators. Furthermore, it affects the quality of education provided. This study aims to analyze the relationship between coping strategies and stress levels experienced by primary school teachers.

The research involved 123 teachers in San Pedro de Macoris and was carried out with a quantitative approach using a correlational, descriptive, and comparative design. The results revealed that more than 20% of teachers experience stress levels categorized as high or remarkably high. Additionally, a weak positive relationship was identified between stress and coping strategies such as "Problem Solving," "Emotional Expression," "Wishful Thinking," "Social Support," and "Cognitive Restructuring." On the other hand, significant negative correlations were found with "Self-Criticism" and "Social Withdrawal."

These findings underscore the importance of addressing teacher stress comprehensively, considering both coping strategies and accumulated service experience. Implementing programs to support well-being and stress management in the educational field is crucial to enhance teachers' quality of life and, ultimately, optimize the teaching and learning process for students.
Hirrael SantanaÁgueda Peña Solís

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/121

The main objective of this study was to address the relationship between educational institutional autonomy and the implementation of the competency-based curriculum approach in educational institutions. A mixed methodology was employed, integrating both quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the quantitative approach, a questionnaire was used to gather and analyze data on key variables, such as institutional autonomy and the implementation of the competency-based curriculum approach. A pilot test was conducted with directors and teachers from the educational institutions to validate the reliability and objectivity of the results. Statistical techniques such as frequency, percentage, and proportions were utilized, along with Spearman's correlation coefficient to measure the association between the variables. In the qualitative approach, field notes, natural discourse analysis, and unstructured interviews were employed. A semi-structured questionnaire was also sent via email, using the Likert scale, to teachers and directors of the investigated educational institutions. The results demonstrated a highly significant relationship between educational institutional autonomy and the implementation of the competency-based curriculum approach. As educational institutional autonomy increases, the implementation of the competency-based curriculum approach is strengthened. It is concluded that there is a correlation between the studied variables, and their impact on the performance of both teachers and students was confirmed.
Janny Karina Turbi Dipré

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/83

In this research, the topic of the Teacher versus the Development of Socio-affective Competencies of Secondary Level Students is raised. It is based on Erikson's theory of psychosocial development; the objective is to generate a theoretical approach about the teacher regarding the development of socio-affective competencies of secondary school students. The approach was qualitative, the paradigm is interpretive with the Grounded Theory Method. The setting was the Education Regional 06-05, La Vega, Dominican Republic. I selected three centers and applied the instruments to ten teachers. As techniques and instruments, I used a semi-structured interview and observation. I carried out the analysis and interpretation of the data through the processes of segmentation, coding and categorization, according to the method used. The findings indicate that the training that teachers receive for the development of socio-affective competencies responds to a transmissive model, which causes little recognition of this issue for comprehensive education; They have imprecise conceptions on the subject and therefore, the activities they carry out to contribute to the socio-affective development of their students are insufficient due to their experience, but not to their initial and ongoing training. This theory is based on an emerging system of categories based on: Teacher training experiences on socio-affective development; teacher conceptions of socio-affective development in secondary school; teacher competencies for the socio-affective development of the student. The concepts that make up the theoretical approach are: Transmissive model of teaching, learning in practice, difficulty in applying what has been learned, imprecise conceptions about socio-affective development, emotional awareness, empathy and good communicator.
Silvia Mercedes Batista Aracena

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/68

The evaluation of the study plans, in the implementation phase, is linked to the process evaluation. It refers to the implementation of the program by teachers and involves classroom observation and accompaniment processes. This process evaluation can be complemented by self-report by teaching teams about the quality of teacher-student interactions, level of achievement, strategies, activities, resources, and evaluation elements. A tool designed for this purpose, its construction and validation process, is presented. Each team of teachers of a subject carries out a reflection exercise on their experience at the end of a school period and agree on the improvements that will be made effective in the next period. The tool to evaluate the implementation has the purpose of facilitating the monitoring of the study plans designed by competencies, through the evaluation of the execution of their programs, facilitating the reflective processes of the teachers, the detection of weaknesses and strengths, as well as the presentation of improvement proposals. Academic authorities have pointed out the usefulness of the tool that reports on the implementation of the programs in all its elements and turns out to be key to supporting decision-making based on data evidence.
Lidia LosadaÓliver Moreno

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/94

The promotion of written comprehension and production skills has become one of the priority issues in the area of Spanish language in pre-university education today, due to the fact that in recent years the learning levels of students in communicative competence In the Dominican Republic they have presented a low average score established according to the results of national and international research (PISA and ERCE). In this sense, the study was developed with the purpose of evaluating the level of comprehension and written production of first-year secondary school students from two public schools, urban and rural, in San Juan de la Maguana.

The research has a descriptive methodology, supported by a cross-sectional field design. The sample corresponds to two public schools (urban and rural), where written comprehension and production tests were applied to a group of students (61) in the first grade of secondary level. The results show that in both educational centers the low level of mastery in their writing and reading comprehension is notable, mainly, of the elements that are part of the conventions of the language. It is concluded that first grade secondary school students in both educational centers require support in the acquisition and application of knowledge related to written comprehension and production, because they present a series of weaknesses for the grade in which they are inserted.
Yarieliza Piña de LeónErnesto Mendieta-Contreras

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/89

This action research carried out with 6 French-speaking students taking the subject of Spanish 091 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the 2-2022-2013 semester, seeks to determine the impact of the application of the proposed reading strategies by Isabel Solé, based on the comparative analysis between the strategies used by the students in the applied diagnostic evaluation and those they used after executing the action plan that addressed the teaching of said strategies. For this purpose, 3 reading guides were prepared during the action research with a view to periodically evaluating and verifying the level of significance of each strategy. In the analysis of the results, it will be seen that literal comprehension will be the level that students have most strengthened, however, the inferential and critical level will depend on factors such as their prior knowledge, mastery of vocabulary, use of strategies and their reading level. At the end of this intervention, it was evident that the strategies promoted by the author do allow the strengthening of skills to form an autonomous and strategic reader.
Rossanna María Cabrera Estrella

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/66

An evaluative study is presented about the design of the subject programs in the study plans. Of the three phases of evaluating plans and programs, the work is located in the first. Thus, the purpose was to present a program design evaluation framework valid for the context of higher education. An instrument of 38 items was developed, with a response scale of 4 points (or 3) and five dimensions, taking the model of Pérez Juste (2000, 2017): adaptation to the context, content, technical quality, evaluability and feasibility. Expert judgment involved assessing the appropriateness, relevance, clarity of wording, sufficiency, and coherence in each item. A content validity analysis was carried out using Lawshe's (1975) model. Content validity answers the question of whether the elements that make up a test measure the construct being evaluated. With the content validity index achieved and some improvement modifications in five items, the final version of the instrument was obtained for the evaluation of the design. The usefulness of this type of evaluation has effects on the quality of the programs, because it promotes reflection, the identification of difficulties and strengths, as well as the compilation of proposals for improvement. It is a type of evaluation for the improvement of institutional quality, complementary to the evaluation of implementation and the evaluation of results.
Lidia LosadaÓliver Moreno

The research revolves around curricular development in the San Cristóbal province, analyzing the achievement of the learning proposed for pre-university education. Given that, after the twelve-year training journey, the students of regional 04 do not demonstrate the competencies designed for them at the end of this period. This is evidenced in the results of the Pisa test, national diagnostic assessment, and national tests. In this sense, an attempt is made to evaluate the implementation of the teaching and learning methodologies and strategies of the competencies of the national curriculum through this mixed and descriptive research that seeks to provide answers guided by the objectives proposed for it. An instrument structured according to the questions, after validation, was applied to a representative sample of teachers. These instruments will respond to the variables of didactic methodology, curriculum component, dimensions of the standards and competency evaluation. Likewise, teaching support is provided using a classroom checklist to observe and document elements seen in different areas at levels and modalities to compare the answers given in the interview or survey instrument. The most relevant results show that teachers in the distinct levels of the system operate with their backs to the expected learning and that the causes of the existing dysfunctions in the development of competencies lie in methodological aspects.
Santo Franco BautistaYadira Mota SolanoMayeily De los Santos Lorenzo

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/259

University students often face a multiplicity of writing difficulties, which has an impact on their training, academic pursuit, and the construction of their profile as a researcher. The objective of this study was to analyze academic writing practices in the genre of research article review written by teachers in training at the Instituto de Formación Docente Salomé Ureña to then generate a series of regulatory principles of academic literacy in accordance with trends current. Methodologically, it is descriptive research. The sample of this study was represented by students enrolled in Academic and Professional Writing and the pilot test was represented by a group of Lexicology and Semantics to validate the instruments. A questionnaire was applied to explore their attitudes about the writing process and then, as a second instrument, the composition test was applied in two moments. A checklist with indicators was used to guide the rewriting of the second draft. The information was systematized and codified through the MAXQDA 2022 program. The main results showed that the recognition of communicative patterns reflects improvements in the students' writings, and explicit teaching is of utmost importance for the development of this competence. However, it is relevant to point out that fears and insecurities continue to manifest in the process, given that writing and research are processes that require constant practice, and these perceptions could change in the long term.
Nour Adoumieh Coconas

https://congresoideice.gob.do/index.php/cii/article/view/311

The quality of teaching work depends on the willingness and competence of teachers to evaluate their students' knowledge and make decisions that promote learning. Consequently, this study sought to compare the level of teaching performance in classroom management (effective use of time, planning strategies, methodologies, conflict resolution and relationship with students with Specific Educational Support Needs - SEN) and its implications between experienced and new teachers in educational centers in Region 12. The instruments used were two questionnaires: one to collect teachers' perceptions and the other to observe classroom practice. The results showed little difference between the time management of the DE is 14.03 and DI is 17.84, the most predominant planning strategy for both DE and DI is the strategy by learning unit, the methodology used is dialogic inquiry, games, learning by discovery and problems, but not project-based learning, and they show strengths in conflict management, but not in the preparation and attention to students with SEN.

The findings place the majority of both experienced and new teachers at the basic level, then at the outstanding level, and to a lesser extent at the proficient and insufficient levels. It can be affirmed, then, that both teachers show strengths and opportunities for improvement in the classroom management dimensions analyzed in this research.
Ilka Aracelis Lizardo Ponciano
